next, i present spring 1998. during this semester i took a capstone econ course, Macroeconomic Theory, featuring my future thesis reader, Peter Hans Matthews. i am told he is Canadian. in any event, that class was difficult, and i kid you not. because we generally did not write papers, i present here some problem sets which reading at the present time, have concepts that are interesting to see having come to life - if you are not economically inclined; if you are, wait until later for real analyses.

Macroeconomic Theory
[ Problem Set I - Investment / Spending ]
[ Problem Set II - Further Government Spending issues ]
[ Problem Set III - Those famous marginal propensities ( like to consume) ]
[ Term Paper ] - Response to Alicia Munnell, but I cannot find it at the moment...

i also had the occasion to take Geography of Development, appraised and delivered by Tamar Mayer. i am told she is Israeli. this class was also rough, but read on to see what effects Ms. Mayer had on my thinking. it is rough being the kid from the underdeveloped world in an American classroom, but makes for great debates.

Geography of Development
[ Paper I - Chiapas | Paper II - Indonesia | Paper III - Refugees in Kenya & Zaïre ]
[ Final Examination I - Environmental Conservation in Third World States ]
[ Final Examination II - Militarization & Its Impact on Development ]
  [ Final Examination III - A Development Strategy ]
