by design, this section will mislead. i have a deep-seated interest in things that stand to change my world in significant ways. my standard, as far as "changing my world" goes, is factors, companies, individuals and events that may affect the price of milk. while i do not drink milk, i use the potential the aforementioned have to impact its price tag as measure; thus, this is but further evidence of my nonsensical brain.

in any event, from my reading list you may have figured that i have a current interest in nanotechnology and in particular, molecular nanotechnology. i am interested not only in what the field may do for how i live my life, but also in how investments in this field will affect the oh-so-pervasive global economy. here are a few companies that i am following closely.
